Palworld Update v0.2.2.0 Fixes Major Bug: Pal Attacks Now Deal Full Damage
Pocketpair has rolled out a significant update, v0.2.2.0, aimed at improving the overall gameplay experience and addressing several critical bugs reported by the community. The update, released on April 15, 2024, for the Steam version, includes fixes for major issues and other minor bugs, with the Xbox version to follow at a later date.
The most notable fix in this patch is the correction of an issue that caused all Pal attacks to deal only half the intended damage. This correction ensures that you can experience the full potential of your Pals in combat, making battles more balanced and engaging. Additionally, the update addresses hit detection in the latter parts of the “Nightmare Ray” and “Nightmare Bloom” attacks, ensuring a more consistent and fair combat experience.
Another critical fix in the update is the reduction of jittering for sleeping Pals on Pal beds. This adjustment improves the game’s visual quality, making the sleeping animation smoother and more realistic. Furthermore, the update allows you to close the character editing screen of the antique dresser using the ESC key, adding a much-needed convenience feature.
Pocketpair has also corrected other minor bugs in Palworld with this update, further refining the game’s performance and stability. The developer has actively listened to the community’s feedback and worked diligently to address the issues and improve the game. Just like that, one user wrote a recommendation for the following new features:
- Player statistic
- Steam Workshop
- Steam point shop items
- Trading cards, background, and emojis
The Xbox version of the update is scheduled for release at a later date. So, stay tuned to be the first to know about it.
