Requirements:
- A PC with a high-end configuration that can handle higher frame rates. In our case, we used an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8-core processor with a Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 Ti graphics card.
- Wuthering Waves installed on your PC.
Steps:
- Download DB Browser for SQLite:
- Go to the GitHub page for DB Browser for SQLite and download the latest release.

- Open DB Browser for SQLite:
- Locate the installed program on your desktop and open it.
- Open the Database File:
- In the DB Browser, click on ‘Open Database’.
- You will need to navigate to a specific file LocalStorage.db that allows changes to the frame rate limit. You will find this using the following path – “Wuthering Waves Game\Client\Saved\LocalStorage and open LocalStorage.db”

- Launch Wuthering Waves:
- After you’ve made your changes and saved them, launch Wuthering Waves as you normally would.
Additional Notes:
- If you change the frame rate to 120FPS, it greatly increases the consumption of system resources, particularly RAM.
- Despite the boost to 120FPS, maintaining a consistent frame rate, especially during combat, was difficult—likely due to optimization issues.
- While you may not get a stable 120FPS, playing at a rate higher than 60FPS provides a better experience.
Conclusion:
By following these steps, you should be able to play Wuthering Waves at 120FPS, although the frame rate might fluctuate due to optimization issues, it’s still better than playing the game at 60FPS.
If you have a powerful enough computer and are willing to experiment, this could enhance your gaming experience. Just remember to follow the instructions carefully and acknowledge that you’re doing this at your own risk.
