According to Nintendo’s financial report, the company has experienced a positive trajectory in its financial performance for the fiscal year 2024, from 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024.
Nintendo’s net sales saw an increase to 1,671.8 billion yen, marking a 4.4% growth from the previous fiscal year’s 1,601.6 billion yen. Similarly, the operating profit rose by 4.9%, moving from 504.3 billion yen to 528.9 billion yen (“Nintendo Co., Ltd. Financial Results”).
The report further notes a significant jump in net profit by 13.4%, totaling 490.6 billion yen, compared to the preceding year’s 432.7 billion yen. This growth is attributed to a substantial 13.2% rise in ordinary profit and a notable expansion in net profit margins by 2.3 points to 29.3%.
