Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut Now Supports Crossplay Between PC and Consoles
Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut has expanded its crossplay capabilities, allowing players on PC to team up with PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 users in the Legends multiplayer mode.
The update was announced via the official Twitter account of developer Sucker Punch Productions, stating that matchmaking between PC and consoles will be enabled soon after the release of patch 2.24.
Initial Beta Launch
Initially launched in beta, the crossplay feature in Ghost of Tsushima’s Legends mode has now moved out of beta, enabling seamless matchmaking across platforms. This update comes as a significant enhancement for the game, which was recently released on PC and is now available on both Windows PC and PlayStation consoles.
Additional Enhancements
The update also brings various improvements to the game’s performance and features, including support for ultra-wide monitors and the PlayStation overlay on PC, which includes a friends list, trophies, settings, and profile. Players on PC will also be able to use in-game voice chat to communicate with their teammates on consoles.
PlayStation Overlay
Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut is the first PlayStation title on PC to use the new PlayStation overlay, which is accessible from the in-game menu or by pressing the “SHIFT + F1” shortcut on the keyboard.
The game also shares the same trophy set as the PlayStation 5 version, and players who connect their existing account for PlayStation Network and unlock trophies on Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut using the same account on PS5 will have the same trophies unlocked on the PC version.
